About Us

At Rockhampton Veterinary Clinic, we provide comprehensive, professional and compassionate care to pets and their families across Rockhampton and the surrounding areas.

Our experienced veterinary team, led by Dr Jessica and Dr April, has a range of interests including small animal medicine, exotic pets, dentistry and surgery.

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient care while creating a supportive and collaborative environment for our team.

Your Role

As a Part-Time Veterinarian, you’ll enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload, including:

  • Consulting with clients and providing high-quality patient care

  • Performing routine and soft tissue surgery

  • Utilising digital radiography, ultrasound and in-house laboratory equipment

  • Preventative healthcare, including vaccinations, parasite control and wellness checks

  • Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and their pets

  • Working alongside experienced veterinarians and a skilled nursing team

  • Managing emergency cases with confidence and compassion

  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring continuity of care

Most importantly, you’ll have the flexibility of a part-time roster tailored to suit your lifestyle, while continuing to develop your skills and contribute your ideas.

About You

We’re looking for a veterinarian who:

  • Is qualified and registered, or eligible for registration, with the Queensland Veterinary Practitioners Board

  • Ideally has 3+ years’ small animal experience, although vets at all career stages are encouraged to apply

  • Is a confident communicator and enjoys building strong client relationships

  • Works well as part of a team

  • Is passionate about delivering excellent patient care
